When a family of five, three of which were under the age of 10, were building a new forever home in Cold Spring Harbor, they knew attention to detail in their outdoor space was equally important to the house design. To meet the needs of their growing family, they added a pool, basketball court, playground equipment, gazebo-style living room, lush landscaping, and a spectacular outdoor kitchen covered by a StruXure Pergola X. The automated system’s black louvers and frame match back to the home’s black framing on a massive window wall that looks out to the backyard. The pergola is equipped with dual fans, down lights, a mounted TV, and six retractable screens. With a built-in grill, plenty of counter and cabinet space, and table seating for 10, plus additional bar seating, this is an outdoor kitchen and backyard that dreams are made of.
